Family Kitchen is a website run by a registered Dietitian, who is helped by other health care professional to provide relevant and scientific health information to parents. The concept of Family Kitchen was started by Carey Haupt. I am a mother of two small children. When chatting to other parents about breastfeeding and feeding their children, I realised how important it is that there be a platform whereby parents can ask and receive science based health information. Parents are bombarded with advice on nutritional and health care, often the advice is personal preference or a form of marketing. With Family Kitchen the parents know that the advice given is based in science and from one of our experts.
